The Role

Reporting into our Digital Marketing Director, the Senior SEO Manager will play a key role in leading our SEO efforts for puregym.com, puregym.dk, puregym.swiss and purefitness.com.

The purpose of the role is to maximize the PureGym Group’s visibility in all areas of organic search, with a specific focus on driving new joiners from SEO.

The role:

• Maximise the number of new joiners we drive from organic search across the Group
• Grow PureGym.com’s visibility in all areas of organic search, including within local search, YouTube and TikTok
• Lead our relationships with our SEO agencies, ensuring we’re getting the best impact from their expertise and we have the right structure of external support to drive success across all markets
• Identify opportunities and trends within organic search, ensuring we stay ahead of our competition, both on Google and secondary platforms such as YouTube and Tiktok
• Drive forward technical SEO enhancements to our websites with the help of our in-house dev team, working to stay ahead of Google best practices
• Monitor and report on SEO visibility and performance across all areas, understanding what’s working well and identifying opportunities for improvements
• Improve the SEO friendliness of our sites’ content – both enhancing existing content and producing new content, with the help of external partners where required
• Work with our in-house design team on production of videos and other assets to support SEO efforts
• Work with our SEO agencies and external partners to bring outreach campaigns to life, ensuring these are supported by amazing onsite content, working with our design team as required
• Manage onsite content related to SEO in the CMS
• Keep up-to-date with wider digital media trends and developments, bringing fresh ideas to the business

The Person

• Excellent SEO knowledge, with direct experience of working in an SEO specific role for at least 3 years
• Great team player with an ability to work with closely with internal teams to identify common goals and drive results.
• Able to champion SEO internally, and articulate the potential commercial benefits of SEO improvements
• Confident in analyzing complex results and turning those into actionable strategies to drive forward SEO performance
• Keen interest or active participation in sport and / or fitness. Passion for the fitness industry
• Naturally curious about search behaviour and trends
• Aware of how SEO fits in the wider marketing mix
• Ambitious and looking for a career in a fast paced environment
• Is commercially aware and uses knowledge and experience to drive success of PureGym
• Takes ownership for performance and ensures that all targets are met
• Can effectively build strong working relationships and networks to enable success
